Why I chose ultrarunning?
Simply because it’s easier for me. To some, it’s hard. It’s easy enough that a lot has joined it lately. It’s also hard that I have not seen an ultramarathon event with more than 500 participants.
I have high hopes.
I do believe it will come to that.
As to what event – I don’t know yet.
A lot of things will depend greatly on many factors.
Until that time – I will keep on training. 🙂

Flat on the first 9K
Very steep ascent in the next 5K, and then a rolling hills up to the next 16K.
Another rugged ascent in the next 10K, then rolls again for the last 10K.
Hmmm…I love the details of this one.
If it gets too sunny or it rains too hard – I hope not.
If the weather gets too good – it will be a fine race for me.
Unexpected things happen to my liking.
I need to alter my training (good thing is that there is ample time). I need to return to midnight runs and I need very very long runs – at cold temperatures! 🙂

I see myself at my ideal weight of 124 lbs in 2 weeks. That would be the week where May 1 can be found.
I am overly excited for May since I will be increasing the mileage, intensity and activity of my training by then. The whole month will be:
