Special Ponderings

I have and will always believe…

For the need, and the importance of a support crew.

Yes, that is especially so when they work effectively to push you when you already have reached your limit.

They guide you when you are lost.

They lead you.

They send words of encouragement while yours is slowly getting crushed.

They cheer you up when you are broken and crying.

They give you reasons when your mind is somewhere.

I’ve been a pacer for a very long time already.

I know that I do well.

Now I have an event.

A very big event.

An ultramarathon.

An epic one.

Now I don’t have a crew.

I wanted one, but.

I can’t afford it.

I can’t just drag anyone along with me and make them suffer. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have only enough for myself.

I don’t even have a place to rest.

I wonder how I will fare…

..If my mind is tough enough for this epic run adventure.

Of course I will need to drink, eat and rest too. Everybody else does.

Only, I have no one with me in particular.

I can only put all my trust in God.

This run is all for His glory!

Not even mine.

I literally grin at my ideas and how I would look at race day to the end of the line. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyways…there’s still time. As of this writing, 10 days more to go before gunstart.

The Lord will provide.

He said He will never leave me, nor forsake me. I trust that.

BDM 160 Race Week

It’s race week… and I will be a pacer from Km 102 to Finish Line. (I hope to be able to keep up with the task) I guess it’s the grandest street party again by Saturday to Sunday. I hope to see a lot of the familiar faces in the community. Blessings to all!
