As a new runner you will need at least 3 things. You already have this if you are still actively running and is already deep into running.
You need to ask yourself what you want to do and see done by yourself.
You need a proper guide. Someone knowledgeable. Someone who will push you to go on, and pull you back when you lost your way.
You need to have the strong will to do what it takes to bring that goal into reality.
