To Her

Love to her is when you follow everything she says.

Love to her is when you listen well.

Love to her is when you do not contradict what you do with what you say.

The Kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is an inheritance. It’s something we get from staying out of sin, unforgiveness, disobedience, and the grasp of darkness.

kingdomofgod

1 Corinthians 15:50 New Living Translation
What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

Mark 10:14 Berean Study Bible
When Jesus saw this, He was indignant and told them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Matthew 6:33 New Living Translation
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Who Will NOT Inherit?

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Berean Study Bible
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21 New Living Translation
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:5 New Living Translation
You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

Colossians 3:5-6 New Living Translation
So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming.

Berean Study Bible
…Because of these, the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.

Hebrews 13:4 New Living Translation
Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.

Entry to the Kingdom

John 3:3 New Living Translation
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

John 3:5 Berean Study Bible
Jesus answered “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

Birth is the beginning of life; to be born again, is to begin to live anew, as those who have lived much amiss, or to little purpose. We must have a new nature, new principles, new affections, new aims. By our first birth we were corrupt, shapen in sin; therefore we must be made new creatures. It is a great change made in the heart of a sinner, by the power of the Holy Spirit. It means that something is done in us, and for us, which we cannot do for ourselves.

The regenerating work of the Holy Spirit is compared to water. It is also probable that Christ had reference to the ordinance of baptism. Not that all those, and those only, that are baptized, are saved; but without that new birth which is wrought by the Spirit, and signified by baptism, none shall be subjects of the kingdom of heaven.

Live on His Word

1 Peter 1:23 New Living Translation
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

Colossians 2:11-16 New Living Translation
When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision–the cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.  You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross. So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.

Rely on the Holy Spirit

1 Corinthians 2:4 New Living Translation
And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:13 New Living Translation
When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths.

1 Corinthians 4:20 New Living Translation
For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.

In reproving for sin, we should distinguish between sinners and their sins. Reproofs that kindly and affectionately warn, are likely to reform.

Whenever the gospel is effectual, it comes not in word only, but also in power, by the Holy Spirit, quickening dead sinners, delivering persons from the slavery of sin and Satan, renewing them both inwardly and outwardly, and comforting, strengthening, and establishing the saints, which cannot be done by the persuasive language of men, but by the power of God.

Romans 14:17 New Living Translation
For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

We cannot hinder ungoverned tongues from speaking evil; but we must not give them any occasion. We must deny ourselves in many cases what we may lawfully do, when our doing it may hurt our good name. Our good often comes to be evil spoken of, because we use lawful things in an uncharitable and selfish manner.

Righteousness, peace, and joy, are words that mean a great deal. As to God, our great concern is to appear before him justified by Christ’s death, sanctified by the Spirit of his grace; for the righteous Lord loves righteousness. As to our brethren, it is to live in peace, and love, and charity with them; following peace with all men. As to ourselves, it is joy in the Holy Ghost; that spiritual joy wrought by the blessed Spirit in the hearts of believers, which respects God as their reconciled Father, and heaven as their expected home.

Our Weapon For Battle

Hebrews 4:12 New Living Translation
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Jeremiah 23:29 New Living Translation
Does not my word burn like fire?” says the LORD. “Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces?

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 New Living Translation
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.  We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.

Prayer for You

Romans 15:13 New Living Translation
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

All glory to God, our loving Father!

Saved BUT Undelivered

All Christians are saved.
1-john_1_9
I hope we won’t have to argue about that.
Let’s see. Are we really saved?
  • We believed in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ – that His name is above all names and that all authority in heaven and on earth is given Him. He redeemed us from our sins and cause us to be right in the eyes of God. He is the one and ONLY mediator between us men and God!
ACTS 10:43 New Living Translation
He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name.”
ACTS 4:12 New Living Translation
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
1 TIMOTHY 2:5 New Living Translation
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity–the man Christ Jesus.
MATTHEW 28:18 Berean Study Bible
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
When you believed our Lord Jesus Christ – you got saved! Others received the baptism (Acts 8:15) later on, and the teachings, but still – saved in the first place.
MARK 16:16 Berean Study Bible
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
ROMANS 10:13 Berean Study Bible
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
ACTS 2:21 Berean Study Bible
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
And we can only call on the Lord’s name when we know His name – His being.
ACTS 2:38 Berean Study Bible
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Repentance is required before the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Repentance, for the forgiveness of sins and baptism of the Holy Spirit, for us to received the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
ROMANS 8

5Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

9But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.) 10And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you lifed because you have been made right with God. 11The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

12Therefore, dear brothers and sisters,e you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. 13For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature,f you will live. 14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are childreng of God.

15So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.h Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”i 16For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. 17And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

Now we are sons and daughters of the living God! Are we?
However, despite being saved, despite being sons and daughters of the living God, there are situations and things in us that we are not yet able to get free from. This is where deliverance is needed. To set us free from this particular situation or being.
de·liv·er·ance
dəˈliv(ə)rəns/
noun
the action of being rescued or set free.
“prayers for deliverance”
From what situation? From what being?
LUKE 4:18 Berean Study Bible
“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
MATTHEW 11:5 New International Version
The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.
When the Lord proclaimed the good news and forgive the sins of the people, they also get healed from whatever they need healing from. That must include the inner – our emotions. I believe that we cannot thank or praise God with a heavy heart or even when we are sad. So there must be a deliverance from :
  1. Emotional problems –
  • Irritable to others. An irritable question. Do you know one?
  • Little or No tolerance from expectations or demands
  • When offended, feelings of anger, hate and resentment rise up
  • Overly sensitive – easily angered and lashed-out
  • Hard to forgive
  • Hard to feel loved
  • Easily frustrated
  • Retaliation urges
  • Irresponsible behavior
  • Feelings of hopelessness
  • ..and many more
  1. Unclean Spirits – to name a few…
  • Spirits of bondage – which must be broken
  • Spirits of addiction, lust, perversion
  • Spirits of rebellion
  • Spirits of witchcraft, divination and the occult – which must be renounced

REVELATION 16:13-14 Berean Study Bible
And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs, coming from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.

MATTHEW 8:3 Berean Study Bible
Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said, “be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

…and last but not the least – Demons.

1 TIMOTHY 4:1 New Living Translation
Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.

2 THESSALONIANS 2:3 Berean Study Bible
Let no one deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness (the son of destruction) is revealed.

EPHESIANS 5:6 Berean Study Bible
Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience.

1 SAMUEL 15:23

New International Version
For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king.”

New Living Translation
Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the LORD, he has rejected you as king.”

DEUTERONOMY 18:10-11 New Living Translation
For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead.

v.12 …Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD…

7-things-god-hates

Detestable practices…abominations to the Lord.

Such as…but not necessarily it. May or may not be the case for the Christian that you are BUT may or may not be to someone you know who accepted Christ and is still in bondage or torment of the spirits from their ancestors.

I have met Christians who say they are Christians but is the opposite of what I know our Lord Jesus Christ is.

  • Have you met a Christian who doesn’t know how to pray? The Lord prays a lot.
  • Have you met one who is always frustrated or easily saddened? The Lord is filled with joy. John 15:11
  • Have you met a Christian who is always sick? Or you know someone? The Lord heals.
  • Have you met someone who is tormented by demons? The Lord cast them out. Mark 3:15 even authorized the disciples.

MATTHEW 4:24 New Living Translation
News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed–he healed them all.

MATTHEW 11:5 New International Version
The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.

As Christians, we ought to be living our life in Christ – a rich and satisfying life in Him, with Him and for Him.

john1010

JOHN 10:10 New Living Translation
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

But there’s an unseen battle – a battle with the unseen! Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they are not real. Angels and Demons and Spirits are real! As real as the Holy Spirit of the living God, our Sovereign Lord!

EPHESIANS 6:12 Berean Study Bible
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

How can someone see the unseen when he is afraid? The gift of an open spiritual eye is for the fearless and the brave whose trust is in the Lord. Demons are horrific. Unclean Spirits are disgusting. Evil Spirits are in many forms, and can be terrifying. If you would see them, would you run? Remember, an open spiritual eye is not limited to the heavenly beings. There’s Hell too!

So, are you saved and delivered or are you saved and undelivered? Seek the Lord and know for yourself. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal this to you. If you really are a son of the living God, you alone can answer that.

Remember, only the unbelievers can be possessed. Believers, however, can be influenced, or deceived, or both.

Isaiah 49:9 New Living Translation
I will say to the prisoners, ‘Come out in freedom,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Come into the light.’ They will be my sheep, grazing in green pastures and on hills that were previously bare.

Evildoers foster rebellion against God; the messenger of death will be sent against them.

Anti-stronghold Bible verses

Home > Anti-stronghold Bible verses

Print them out and go over them every day for a week and see if it doesn’t make a big impact on your spiritual growth and freedom! Meditate on God’s Word as King David did! These verses are truth, and will help you tear down strongholds (which are based on lies and deception).

Deliverance

Isaiah 61:1-3, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.” (Remember, I believe the word ‘fear’ here simply means to respect – not the same kind of fear as being scared or afraid of Him)

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

1 John 3:1, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…”

Luke 15:20, “And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.” (This is the parable of the son who took half his dad’s money and ran away, then returned home and his father saw his son and was moved with compassion. So is it with our heavenly Father, when we turn to Him and repent, He is moved with compassion and welcomes us with open arms.)
