WEEK #3

Monday is a slack. Worked 10pm to 6:30am of Sunday and have to report to work @ 8-5pm. There…dizzy and cannot run at all.

Tuesday, the 26th of March, is a short run in a short time. After off @ 5pm, I hurried to the Bay. ๐Ÿ™‚ Did a 3:1 run:walk with Fartleks.

Managed a good 6K with the following splits:

8:47 / 6:13 / 6:56 / 6:57 / 6:32 / 6:43 – not bad for a very short run! ๐Ÿ™‚ 3:1 to boast!ย  42 minutes 8 seconds for a 6K Run! ๐Ÿ™‚

Wednesday, the 27th of March is a very short run. Yet, a good run walk.

Thursday, the 28th of March, is a long run with Pepsi. 22.1K of good rolling hills ran at consistent pace. The sun did shine so bright. We have to stop for a while and drink a cold COKE for a breather. ๐Ÿ™‚ Pepsi’s endurance is good though. She kept the pace for as long as she could – and succeeded well.

Friday, the 29th of March is a good regular run. A bit fast for a 3:1. Splits as follows:

9:12 / 8:58 / 8:18 / 9:22 / 8:02 / 6:35 / 6:29 / 8:09 / 7:13 / 7:26. ๐Ÿ™‚

Saturday was a failed attempt. Did only a 2K.

Sunday almost faded but I was able to insert a 4K before dinner.ย  A good 3:1 again.

Regardless of time, when you are up for a mileage, just cover the distance.

You do not get to lose fats if you are not even burning up your carbs.

As of this day, the 1st of April @ 6:00am, my weight is at 60 kgs exact. ๐Ÿ™‚ Been at my average weight of 63 kgs for the longest time before this one.

Now, I am so glad.

Unang Takbo

Habang nangangarap makatakbo ng mas mahaba, ayun, nasa 21K category ako ng Condura Skyway Marathon 2013.

Unang karera ko ito sa taong ito. Tumakbo lang ako at hindi nangarera. Wala ako sa kondisyon para mag-ubos lakas.

Maaga kami dumating ni Dapuni. Past 2am lang. 3am ang assembly time. Awa ng Diyos, 4:00am na pinalabas sa hawla ang WAVE – E. Antok na ako.

Dahil plano ko lang tumakbo ng walang pressure, relax lang kami nagsimula hanggang sa mabagot si Dapuni. LOLS ๐Ÿ˜›

Di ko na siya inabutan sa U-turn @ 10.5K. Medjo gusto ko rin magmadali kaya naman kambyo na ang ratsada pabalik. Maraming naglalakad na parang namamasyal lang. LOLS ๐Ÿ˜›

Eto lang ang nakayanan. Ok na sa akin yan. Masaya na ako sa oras ko na pinagpaguran. Hataw na hataw na yang pabalik na yan. Napakarami ko nang nalampasan at hinabol. At dahil wala nga sa kondisyon, ok na rin.
